Who We Are.
Courtney Vincent
BID, NCIDQ® Certificate No. 29671, LEED AP
PRESIDENT & PRINCIPAL INTERIOR DESIGNER
Courtney grew up in Calgary, Alberta and completed her Bachelor of Interior Design in 2006 at Mount Royal University in Calgary.
With over fifteen years in the Interior Design Industry, Courtney has experience in several different sectors of design including office, health care, retail, and residential. Her work history spans several rolls in addition to that of an interior designer, such as project management, tenant coordination, and property and facilities management. This experience has given her a broad understanding of design and construction projects from varying points of view.
Shortly after graduating, Courtney obtained her Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design (LEED) certification. In 2013, after several years working, she earned the National Council for Interior Design Qualification (NCIDQ) certificate which shows proven expertise by demonstrating core competencies and an understanding and applying current codes established to protect public health, safety and welfare.
Many years after graduation, Courtney returned to MRU as a sessional instructor in the Interior Design Department, helping to prepare the next generation of graduates for the Interior Design industry.
Courtney is passionate about working with clients who are excited about their business and their spaces, and finds particular enjoyment working on healthcare projects. She believes creating spaces to provide comfort and a sense of safety for people going through what might be their best or worst day is a great privilege for an interior designer.
